Scope

The rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and the exponential growth of digital information have transformed various domains, including healthcare, transportation, finance, and smart cities. However, the integration of IoT systems presents significant challenges in managing, processing, and interpreting the vast and diverse data they generate, with traditional methods often struggling to meet the scale, heterogeneity, and real-time demands of IoT environments. A promising solution lies in the integration of Embodied Intelligence with IoT systems, which enhances IoT’s ability to autonomously process and interpret data through adaptive, sensory-motor interactions, enabling intelligent decision-making and optimized resource allocation. By leveraging advanced intelligent computation techniques such as machine learning, multi-agent systems, and distributed computing, IoT environments can become more autonomous, context-aware, and capable of real-time decision-making. This special issue will explore how the fusion of embodied intelligence and IoT, within the framework of intelligent computation, can address the challenges of complex information integration, resource management, and adaptive decision-making in IoT ecosystems.
